Surviving mars wiki biorobots8/3/2023 ![]() ![]() You see this with modern robotics now it's used in civil and industrial areas it did not exist in 20, 30 years ago. If we were to invent sci fi grade smart AI equipped androids tomorrow do you really think they'd be relegated to advanced positions only? Ok they may be reserved for advanced jobs first but they will trickle down into menial and dangerous labor as soon as the tech becomes standardized driving down it's cost. Their Bio-Mechanical nature should also give them resistance and immunity to alot of dieases and disorders that means less spent on healthcare.įrom a Colonial level it really doesn't matter these artificial entities are gonna be used in alot of different sectors. Never aging means they never retire they can accrue skill and experience indefinitely and skill and experience is useful in any job no matter how dumb and menial it is. Not silly for the companies or individuals that own that store. But yes, if they do not train in a specialisation, you will see them in the diner and grocery store which feels silly to me. They can be educated at the University, be retrained at a Sanatorium and the like. Also, all the free sanity and morale you could need.Įdit, the ones with dots are paradox added.Originally posted by Daft:Being serious, as far as I know, they act like "normal" colonists except they don't age or have children. My bad colonists halfway the game usually already produce at 200. Omega often grants magnetic extraction and if you savescum for overcharge amps you can get depleted mines producing enough to sustain small colonies :'). So far my most perfect bio robot seed is (as paradox, it adds usefull ones on this map) 6N145E It doesn't have gene tech, but with sanitoriums replacing bad things for positive, and biorobots not dying. Seriously, if you want a colony that never runs out of resources, is easy to automate, is hyper efficient, and is just an easy map to work with to build your little cylon paradise, that'd be a good one. Have yet to get a diamond dome but that worthless fungal farm breakthough shows just about every time. And no god damn fungi breakthrough for once. The only thing it's missing is the dome breakthroughs and forever young (but that one doesn't matter to you if you're going biorobots) to be absolutely perfect. However, it is stupid easy mode in terms of the other breakthroughs: service bots ancient terraforming device designated forestation construction nanites solar, wind, AND sterling efficiency upgrades (though no endless free fusion power) nano-refinement overcharge amplifications vector pump and a couple more of the good ones. It has biorobots and neural empathy but not gene selection, so gets close to what you want. I'll try to keep looking.īut if I may suggest: 2S 110E. There was a site that someone had made that had all the maps with a filter system, like this but also including the breakthroughs: but I'm having trouble finding it again.
